Janice Bobin, RN, BSN, of Millersville, was recently hired by Landis Homes as Director of InHome Services.  In her new role, Jan will focus on continuing to expand Landis at Home, the home services program which began in 2007.  This new position is the result of a Landis Homes Board of Directors’ decision to strengthen both the Landis at Home and the Adult Day Services programs for future growth and financial viability.

Prior to this time, Faith Hoover as  Director of Home and Community Based Services, served a dual role,  giving leadership to both the Adult Day Services and Landis  at Home programs.  Now Faith will concentrate her energies in one program in her new position as Director of Adult Day Services which has two centers on campus serving over 100 adults every week.

Eva Bering, VP of Operations said, “We are grateful to Faith for these years of helping establish the Landis at Home Program serving clients both on campus and into the surrounding county. We wish both Faith and Jan the best as they give a renewed focus to two programs that each fill a unique place in helping us serve others.”

Jan, who is originally from Michigan, received her BS in Nursing from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She most recently served as Hospice Long-term Care Manager at Hospice of Lancaster County, where she worked from 2007 to the present.  She also worked for 12 years as RN Supervisor at Cornwall Manor Retirement Community. Jan first became familiar with Landis Homes through her work at Hospice of Lancaster County, including providing
professional training for team members here.

She says of her new position, “As we expand our services, I am eager to extend Landis Homes values to persons on and off our campus.”
