We recently received notification that Landis Homes has been selected as one of the 100 Best Places to Work in PA for 2009! Congratulations to you and the rest of the team on this recognition!

Landis Homes will receive recognition on December 1st at the Best Places to Work in PA awards ceremony in Hershey, PA. Best Places to Work in PA is a survey and awards program that was developed to identify, recognize and honor the best places to be employed in Pennsylvania, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses.

To participate in the program, companies from across the state entered a two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in PA. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation.

The second part consisted of a staff survey to measure the team member experiences. These surveys were randomly distributed to 250 team members. Many thanks to those who received and completed a survey! The survey results were worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. In the next few weeks we should receive those results. We look forward to seeing what we can learn from this information to further improve.

This recognition is an honor that can be shared by all at Landis Homes. We are grateful to be blessed with such a wonderful community of team members, residents, volunteers, Board and others who help make Landis Homes a great place to live, work and serve!
